There are only so many times one can play through the PS2 classic.Īfter the drop of Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories on PSP, Rockstar fans have been chewing the developer’s ankles for the San Andreas port. That wouldn’t be a great deal to ask the frontline developer, would it? And, I suppose we just want to see what that would look like in a current-gen makeover. But, honestly, when Rockstar backs the wheel to something - fun is usually the first box to be checked on the list. Even stealing car radios and hopping fences was fun. With its linear narrative, thrilling battles, and free-roam abilities that offered countless opportunities The Warriors made out to be one of the most enjoyable experiences of the PlayStation 2 era.
The Warriors proved to be just as gripping and urban as the 1979 blockbuster flick.

Thanks to Rockstar’s memorable effort of portraying the iconic movie as an even better game, action fans are stuck to the PS2 gem like Velcro. It’s been fifteen years since we saw the launch of The Warriors, and people are still talking about having it remastered even today. This adaptation to the iconic movie proved to be just as gritty and hardcore, thankfully. Here are five Rockstar games that need to be remastered. Surely that wouldn’t be too much to ask, right? But if we were able to drag Rockstar down from cloud nine, we’d show them these gems and have them kick the remasters into gear. But, sadly, for those little old gems that we once loved and still remember their lives remain in limbo, and the hopes of resurrecting them still rest in the dirt. Rockstar has since put all effort into crafting new material for their billion-dollar platform, Grand Theft Auto Online. Sort of like a discovering an old fossil from beneath the dirt people want to dust off those old bones and see them in a whole new light. Only, the issue with leaving an imprint when a triple-A developer wishes to pursue other goals is that, unsurprisingly, people still want to look at that old print. And that’s a remarkable accomplishment on Rockstar’s behalf. Even they have managed to make footprints deep enough to be seen decades on. Even their smallest creations which only cast the thinnest shadows next to the likes of Grand Theft Auto. We’d be lying if we said Rockstar doesn’t make absolute masterpieces when it comes to video games.
