Looking forward to hearing what you're working on man. That within the SD2 mixer, I've never explored the possibility tbh Total isolation, I usually just split any MIDI data related to cymbals On the rare occasion that I need cymbals in

If possible, I'd like to have every element separated out to it's own track in reaper so I can process them there, rather than the SD interface. I've seen the easy mixer bit and I think I managed to reduce ambience in there. Is this just because the preset I've chosen is only using a limited number of mikes? It seems there is no mike or mikes just for the symbols or low tom.

I can't find which mike is picking up the crashes, rides, the overheads from this mixer page. I get up to about mike 10 and from then on they seem to have the phase, solo and mute buttons checked. kics on 1/2 out, snares, 3/4 hats on 5/6 etc.

I'm assigning the same drum mikes to the same out. I go on to the mixer page and started soloing each mike to find out what it's pointed at, then started assigning them to different outputs. In this case it's one from the metal foundry expansion. I've inserted SD2 from the track menu, using the option to insert virtual instrument option, and said yes to it creating the routing for the 32 outputs. I'm currently trying to split out the kit pieces to their own tracks but think I'm misunderstanding something. SO as mentioned in other thread, I'm using the Access for Music script with S2. Can I pick you fellow Superior drummer users brains on this one please?
